Travel Brochure Project
Layout- My layout is going to be different from other brochures. The layout is that I am going to have several pages that are together like a visual photo display. I am also going to create a cover for the brochure to make it loo more professional and nice.

Reflection- I finished my brochure. I am really happy with the brochure it turned out better than expected. The brochure doesn't have a cover like I planned but it is fine. For my brochure I first used Microsoft publisher the background was really plain and I couldn't find a layout that was good for the style I was going for. When I talked to a friend I later found out about another software called Canva. I used Canva and my brochure looked much better. Canva has more variety of backgrounds and it overall looked better. Canva was also easier to use and better. The brochure backgrounds make it more appealing and more eye catching. For next time I might add some more information and try and balance the monochrome and colour in the brochure. Overall I am happy with the brochure even though I had to remove one thing and use another software but this way I learned more while making my brochure.

Travel Brochure Project
Introduction
This term we have a project where we have to pretend to be travel guides and make a travel brochure. I have been to many countries and so I am going to choose my favorite place and make on a brochure on that. I am going to try my best to make a brochure that can persuade people very well. I am going to be using a software called microsoft publisher. I have never used microsoft publisher before so I am sure that I will learn a lot of new things.
Design Situation
I like my clients to experience new cultures and feel like they entered a new world completely different from there world. I would like to suggest the place India. India is a country with extremely detailed culture and philosophy. India is a place that is diverse but is still very true to its own roots. India has many different monuments.Another thing that a lot of my clients like is beautiful scenery. I would like to suggest the place switzerland. Switzerland is very beutiful with a place with a lot of beutiful scieners.
Research
India is a very interesting place. It has a population of more than a billion people. It is the second most populated country in the world. It is the seventh most largest country in the world. India has a big industry called Bollywood that makes one of the most famous movies. The Taj Mahal is one of the wonders of the world. An old emperor called Shah Jahn had built in memory of his wife. Switzerland designs amazing army knifes and watches. Switzerland makes army knifes but they don't actually have an army.
Design Brief
I chose the place India. The brochure i going to have a cover and then there will be paper with information inside it. The brochure is going to be called The ulitimate guide to India. It is going to have informations with a lot of pictures. The different monuments are going to be as follows:The main monument in india is the Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is very beautiful and is a great display of mughal aritechecture and it is a must to visit it if you go to India. Another monument that is really amazing is the Qutb Minar. The Qutb Minar is an old pillar. Another monument that is the india gate which is a monument made in memory of solidiers who died in war.

Article- The project that I am going to be telling you about is not made by a student. It is actually made by one of the biggest companies, it is made by google. It is google's self-driving car. This is a car that is very expensive. It can drive itself and the owner doesn't have to drive the car. Google decided to make this to make driving easier for everyone. Google thought it was nice to have a fully self-driving technology in a car because it would be much nicer to reach a place by pushing a button instead of driving. Google has made these cars and have tested them out on streets and say that they work great. The cars have sensors which is able to detect anything that is in fornt of it. For example, if the car is going and the sensor picks up that there is someone in front then the software will automatically slow down the car in order to not hit the other car. This project was started in 2009 then they started making prototypes and testing their creations and then finally they made a fully self-driving car. Google self-driven car went for over 2 million miles. The project was so successful that Google decided to make an independent self-driving technology company which they named Waymo. Google is working on a way of changing the product a bit and so when the car gets put of control the owner can regain control back again to avoid accidents in case the car malfunctions.
reflection- I decided to talk about the self-driving cars because the project really interested me. I think this was very fun to get to know about what nice and new innovations technology has to offer for us. It was a lot of fun researching and getting to know more information about a project that I was interested in. It was tricky to get all the right data but in the end I got it and I am pretty happy with my description.

reflection- These are my three ideas for the tech fair. I haven't yet decided which I am going to use but I think all the ideas are unique and very nice. I think I will see which project is most relevant and then make my choice. It involved a lot of thinking to come up with these projects. I think they might have some flaws which means I won't be able to make some of these ideas but I will see the best one and get started on that for my tech fair project.
Reflections- This is my presentation. I used power point presentation to make this. I used different animations to make it look good to make it nice to present to our class. When we were presenting our project to the class at first they didn't like our project but then we changed it and then they liked it in the end. I enjoyed presenting it to the class they all had great suggestions and amazing question. This project is on if the steps to start our project and I am sure this will help us a lot along the way.
Design Brief - The laser alarm is an alarm system that protects burglars from coming into your house. It is designed for people who live in unsafe areas and need extra protection in their house. The design will include two parts the laser pointer and the mother board and when the signal to the motherboard is blocked the alarm will ring and you can catch the burglar. There are going to be two circuits that are going to be joined together and then attached to the motherboard. The two circuits will be the detection circuit and the alarm circuit.The motherboard is going to have a Led, an electric buzzer, the 2N7000 transistor, Battery and battery cap, 6.8 resistance, 100 Ohm restiance, wire and then all these are going to be soldered together in order to complete the circuit and get the motherboard finished. Our product will be placed in front of the gate or your door so the laser will be on one side and the motherboard will be on the other side the laser will act as a tripwire so when the burglar enters it will ring and you can catch the burglar easily.
Reflection- I tried my best to explain my design brief as best as I could. I answered the questions that were given to me by my teacher in my deign Brief. The design Brief was a little hard to write because it was hard to explain what I am going to be doing. I think next time I am going to try to add more detailed information in order to explain my project better.
REFLECTION
This is my firszt time doing a tech fair project. I have nver done this before in my old school. This was a very interesting journey for me and I learnt so many new things. At first we came up with an idea that wasn't very nice and it was scientific. Later on we came up with a better idea. The project was a little complicated we made 3 circuts until we found a working one. In the end we decided to make another simple version of the project so then we had 2 types of alarms. Evetually we made a good project and got in the tech fair.

Criterion D- Evaluating the solution
reflection on table:
The table that I made has a very unique table stand. It has many bright colors so that it can look good in anybody's dining room. It also has a beautiful family quote on top. This was easy to make on tinker cad because this is a design that only has straight lines which makes it easy to work with. It didn't come out exactly as planned but I am happy with my work. I will play around with my design so that i can improve it to make it look better.
reflection on heel:
The heels that i made was a heel that carries make-up. It has a hollow space in the wedge to store all women's make-up. This show has a unique design with a really pretty diamond on the back of the shoe. This was a design that was very hard to make on tinker cad since it has a wedge. This heel does not look like what i had planned ans done in my outline but i tried my best and I still like this heel. In future I plan on improving this and make more versions of this like this but in flats and I plan on using all the shapes on tinker cad to my advantage.
